Travelling to the event

Please share cars with other riders and supporters to minimise traffic. Parking will be spread around Ullapool.

Please follow marshal instructions.

Registration

Ullapool Village Hall

6.30am - 7.30am on Saturday morning

At registration you will be required to sign a disclaimer for event insurance. You will then get your number and a route card. Attach the number to the handlebars of your bike so it is easily accessible. You will also be given a 'dibber' which you will use for timing around the course.

The Start

Starts are between 7.00am and 8.00am

You will need to 'dib' your 'dibber' to record your start time and off you go.

When deciding what time to go note that:
There is a cut off at 12.00 at Laxford Junction at 78km. If you arrive here after 12.00 you will be required to withdraw from the event.

There is a mandatory safety timing station at the right turn after Ledmore junction.

The finish will close at 19.00.

You must arrive at the finish before this time.
On the Course a
ll roads are open to traffic so ride with care.

Please allow other traffic to pass. You must follow the Highway Code.

The Coast Guard are providing first aid cover and there will be a broom wagon sweeping up at the back.

Food & Drink

There will be four stations for food & water at

Ledmore Junction at 28km
Scourie at 67km
Lairg at 138km
Ledmore Junction at 182km

They will provide bananas and tray bakes with water. Be careful when entering and exiting these stops. Look out for those behind you and for other traffic.

YOU MUST ALSO ENSURE THAT YOU START WITH SUFFICIENT DRINKS ON BOARD AND SOME FOOD IN YOUR BACK POCKET!
IF YOU RETIRE FROM THE EVENT YOU MUST TELL A MARSHALL

The Finish

You will 'dib' to record your time.

There will be hot food, tea/coffee free at the finish.
Professional sports massage will be available for donations to charity.
