Who are MFR Cash for Kids?
MFR Cash for Kids is the charity arm of Moray
Firth Radio. We raise funds throughout the year for distribution to
local sick and underprivileged children.
Importantly, all the money raised locally stays
locally.
We support a wide range of children and
children’s organisations throughout the North.

many groups & organisations where children are benefactors
This year our Board of Trustees received over 500 applications for funding.
Here are some examples;
We bought sensory equipment for a young boy with
severe developmental delay.
We sponsored a Riding for the Disabled horse.
We distributed thousands of hi-visibility bibs
to pre-schools.
We helped replace a child’s toys & clothes after
the family home was destroyed by fire.
We funded a trip to Scout camp for a child whose
sibling has complex disabilities.
We bought a nebuliser for a young girl who
suffered from cystic fibrosis.
We sent a group of young carers on an activity
break.
We provided a sensory garden area for a special
needs playgroup.
These are just some of the cases we have
supported. We are working on the frontline to give
youngsters in our area the childhood they deserve and achieve their full
potential as they continue to adulthood.
